Our Story

Sometimes your purpose has been following you your entire life.

More Than Enough began long before it had a name.

Chapter One

Before there was an organization, there was a story.

Age Six

Cyndi lost her father to cancer and was raised by a grieving single mother.

Age Twenty-Two

A young single mother herself, she heard the words: "You have cancer."

Treatment

Diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, she navigated chemotherapy, radiation, fear, uncertainty, motherhood, and ultimately survivorship.

Years Later

She was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Shortly After

Her husband, Bert, was diagnosed with stage IV follicular lymphoma.

Cyndi had now experienced healthcare from both sides:

Patient. Caregiver.

She understood what it felt like to wait for answers, absorb overwhelming information, wonder which questions you forgot to ask, and support someone you love while carrying your own fear.

And she learned:

Excellent medical care matters tremendously. But so does having someone beside you.

Chapter Two

The lesson became the calling.

Alongside these experiences, Cyndi built a career in leadership.

She coached people. Mentored leaders. Advocated for employees. Supported doctors. Had difficult conversations. Helped people recognize strengths they couldn't always see in themselves.

For years, she thought she was simply building a career.

Eventually, she recognized the common thread.

She was building people.

And underneath all of it was advocacy.

Chapter Three

From lived experience to life's work.

Today, Cyndi serves in patient advocacy, speaks with future healthcare professionals, mentors leaders, and shares lessons learned through survivorship, caregiving, motherhood, and leadership.

One realization became impossible to ignore:

People navigating difficult moments need more than information.

They need connection.

They need confidence.

They need someone willing to listen.

They need someone willing to stand beside them.

That realization became More Than Enough.

Chapter Four

Why More Than Enough?

Am I strong enough?

Smart enough?

Prepared enough?

Brave enough?

Good enough?

You don't become enough after surviving something difficult.

You were already enough.

Our job is simply to help you remember it.

Chapter Five

A legacy with purpose.

More Than Enough represents Cyndi's life's work:

Mentor. Advocate. Support. Coach. Inspire.

And leave a legacy for the next generation.

Her experiences may have inspired the beginning.

But More Than Enough was never meant to be one person's story.

It's yours, too.

Everyone has a story. Everyone will eventually need an advocate. And everyone has the ability to become one.
